Peg Foster Jackson PA Obituary-Former Crestwood administrator Margaret ‘Peg’ Foster and Andrew Keleman died in Susquehanna County murder-suicide

Peg Foster Jackson PA Obituary – Andrew Keleman Death: Authorities in Susquehanna County are investigating the deaths of Margaret “Peg” Foster and her husband, Andrew Keleman, in what officials believe to be a murder-suicide at their home in Jackson Township.

According to the county’s acting coroner, state police were called to the residence on Tuesday for a welfare check. When officers arrived, they found both individuals dead inside the home. Preliminary findings suggest Keleman shot Foster before taking his own life. The couple, both in their 60s, lived at the residence where they were discovered.

Officials say the investigation remains active, and additional details are expected as state police continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have indicated there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Foster was a longtime educator and administrator in the Crestwood School District. She previously served as principal of Fairview Elementary School and was named superintendent in 2015, though the appointment was later rescinded. Foster subsequently filed a federal lawsuit alleging violations of her constitutional due process rights under the 14th Amendment, but the case was dismissed in 2017.

Her death has deeply affected the local community, where she was widely known for her contributions to education. Authorities said the family has asked for privacy as they grieve.

Investigators are continuing efforts to piece together a full timeline leading up to the incident.
